Acid Blue 1, sold as Acid Patent Blue VS and also known as Sulphan Blue, is a triarylmethane acid dye that gives a very bright, slightly greenish blue. Buyers sometimes confuse it with Patent Blue V, which is a different dye (Acid Blue 3, C.I. 42051).
Industrial users dye wool, silk and nylon with it and use it for inks, paper and leather. We supply Acid Blue 1 from our base at GIDC Ankleshwar in 25 kg bags and drums.
