Acid Blue 113, also sold as Acid Navy Blue S5R, is a water-soluble disazo acid dye that gives deep navy-blue shades. Deep Industries manufactures and supplies Acid Blue 113 from its plant at GIDC Ankleshwar, Gujarat, in bulk packing for textile, leather and other industrial users.
Like other acid dyes, Acid Blue 113 is applied from an acidic dye bath. In the bath it bonds with the amino groups of protein and polyamide fibres such as wool, silk and nylon. It is widely used for navy and dark-blue shades, on its own or together with other acid dyes.
Acid Blue 113 is used for wool dyeing, silk dyeing, nylon dyeing and leather dyeing.
