Acid Red 88, also known as Acid Fast Red A or Roccelline, is a monoazo acid dye that gives a strong, bright red. It is water soluble and easy to use in the acidic dye baths used for protein and polyamide fibres.
Dyers use Acid Red 88 on wool, silk and nylon, and it is also used for leather and paper. We make it at our plant in GIDC Ankleshwar and pack it in 25 kg bags and drums.
